CitroGlobe has always focused a great attention on organic certified products and thanks to our daily commitment to the quality and traceability we are able to guarantee to our clients a broad range of organic certified juices, purees and essential oils. Each lot is sent to certified laboratories for pesticide analysis. CitroGlobe has recently obtained also the DEMETER certificate related to the biodynamic agriculture.

CitroGlobe submitted its activities under the control system of Ecogruppo Italia (ITBIO 008) and obtained the EU Organic certificate (Document No.IT-BIO-008.380-0075100.2024.001). The Organic certification is according to European Regulation 2018/848.

On 1st June 2012 is come into force the equivalence arrangement between US and European Union (EU). This means that as long as the terms of the arrangement are met, Organic operations certified to the USDA organic or EU Organic standards may be labeled and sold as Organic in both countries. EU Organic Products and EU-accredited certifying agent must complete a U.S. import certificate for all EU Organic products traded under the arrangement.

CitroGlobe is authorized (document N. 138) to use the internationally registered brand DEMETER for fruit derivatives, fruit juices and purees.

The biodynamic method aims at a totally natural agriculture, where the fertility of the soil is obtained without the use of chemical agents, but with cultivation techniques that exploit crop rotation and vegetable fertilizers.
All European biodynamic farms are also subject to the control for compliance with Reg. EC 834/2007 for organic farming. All our companies, in fact, are also organic.
Being the Demeter standards more restrictive and specific than the EC Regulation for organic, each company has a double control and a double certification for each company: the organic and the Demeter. Biodynamic products therefore have an extra safety for the consumer: controlled by the Control Bodies for organic and Demeter Italy.
